René Descartes's Contribution

Mathematics can extremely develop by René Descartes. Especially in geometry, his idea of sine law became the fundament of graphs. This law of sine was the reason that Newton could find the infinitesimal calculus. This discovery also connects to his philosophy of scientific methods. To show the logic, they often required to show it with the graphs. Furthermore, Descartes invented the unknown numbers(x,y etc.)which are the axes of the graph. His geometry was an accelerator of other scholars' discoveries. The graphs show the visual part of the reaction, so these could be the evidence of the causes.
